Carbon Balance

We all contribute to the rising levels of Greenhouse Gases through our daily activities consuming energy, goods and services.

Our Carbon Footprint is the simplest way to think about this.

We can reduce our personal Carbon Footprint by choosing to consume less and by consuming lower-carbon alternatives.

However, for most people this still leaves us with an over-shoot that somehow needs to be balanced!

Carbon Offsets

The most direct way to achieve Carbon Balance in our lives is to Offset our Carbon Footprint.

Generating and using Carbon Credits and then Offsetting these against our Carbon Balance brings us closer to being Carbon Neutral, or even Carbon Negative.

Each Carbon Credit that we choose to Offset saves Greenhouse Gases from being emitted, or removes these harmful gases from the atmosphere.

Carbon Benefits

High-quality Carbon Credits directly fund the means of reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions or Carbon Capture, whilst also supporting projects that improve people's health, education, livelihoods, equity, and sustainable economic development.

This should benefit the people who are most directly impacted
by Climate Change and who generally already have the lowest Carbon Footprint – such as families in emerging economies.
